“Cascina Rossa” Farm and Restaurant, an ancient farmstead built in 1872 and carefully restored, receives  you in its comfortable rooms, to conquer you with many recipes of Piedmont, from starters to desserts, matched to the best wines of Monferrato and Langhe lands.

Among the most particular dishes, you can find here the famous “Tinca di Ceresole d’ Alba”, Presidio Slow Food  (Tench from Ceresole d’Alba, a Slow Food product ), the real speciality of this restaurant, cooked as smoked or “in carpione” (soused with vinegar), according to tradition.

All the courses are prepared using highly selected ingredients only, always fresh and seasonal, produced in the farm or supplied by the farmers around, in full compliance with Nature and artisan processing method. The restaurant is air- conditioned and is also provided with a summer dehor where you can enjoy the lunch or dinner in each period of the year, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

The activity of this farm also includes a bakery, where you can find the traditional sweet local specialties, as “baci di dama” and “brutti e buoni” cookies, cakes and the home made pasta.

Thanks to its strategic location, near the Highway, 30 km far from Asti and Torino, the town of Villanova is a good starting point to reach these two cities, both of them rich in history and charm, or to make a trip outdoor discovering Monferrato Hills, among country churches, vineyards and characteristic villages.

The Restaurant is open every day for lunch and from Thursday to Sunday for dinner.
